Default Is it true about creatine?

I was just wondering about creatine is it true that once you get off the stuff the muscles return to normal size?

yes, its basically true. The muscle just fill up with water when you take it and then the water disappears when you stop.

How did I know this response was going to be here? (gotta spread some love hrpii but +1 anyway)

- To answer your question Jragon, creatine works on a cellular level. At best, Creatine will increase cell size slightly. You have billions and billions of cells so your muscles swell from the the larger size of the cells. Once you stop using Creatine your cells will no longer swell and thus, you muscles may also be "smaller".

i dont think it is to the degree that you will see much muscle or mass loss by stoping to take them, if interested in trying them mate give it ago ive never heard of anyone having a negitive effect from creatine,

but def as narcsarge metioned that^^ Does take place but you will gain more muscle by taking them either way you will progress and get "the bigger" look imo'

From my experience taking creatine, I did get bigger and stronger, but once I stopped taking it my strength and size pretty much returned to where I was before, I think I was only a bit stronger.

I didn't gain "more muscle," I was just filled with water, and when I stopped taking it I was "normal" again. You're honestly better off just eating right and lifting, you'll get more out in the long run.

since creatine is great for holding water in your body. Why don't people just add more salt to their diet. Does the same thing and cheaper?

Is there any side-effects to creatine? I'm deciding to take it or not. I heard it's possible to get a heart attack from it. Is that true?

Muscle = Fat, Protein, Water

Creatine, Draws water to where it goes....

Creatine enters blood stream > Creatine absorbs into muscles> You work out and muscles pump drawing more blood into muscles tearing them > Your body recovers by using the proteins and water in your body to form tissue>

or

you take creatine> Body dosent absorb creatine it sits in colon> Creatine draws water to colon > you get the mAssive Creatine ****s

Is Creatine worth tryin? Eh......

Choice is yours.....

I say eat food and lift hard

but i dont know nothing i work at a health food store
