Default update cuz its been a while...

but yeh its been a while since iv been on here. sry, just been really busy with track season and all. but i have grow and been doin goo following some of the basic tips from these boards.

neways im out of high school now and goin on to college. im thinkin about playing some local arena football after college, so im lookin to get bigger, stronger, and faster in the meantime.

heres the workout scheduale i have planned so far as what i think ill be doing:

Monday:
squats-pyramid by warmup, set of 10, set of 8, then set of 5,
SLDL's-3x8
calf raises-3x10 wide, 3x10 close stance
leg press-3x8
heavy ab work, prbly declined twists with some plate

Tuesday:
flat bench press-pyramid by warmup, set of 10, set of 8, then set of 5, increasing weight each time
inclined db press-3x8
declined bb bench press-3x8
bb military press-3x8
close grip bench-3x8

Wednesday:
deadlifts-pyramid by warmup, set of 10, set of 8, then set of 5,
pullups-4 sets of as many possible til failure (about 10) also may thorw in lat pulldowns for last set
seated rows-3x8
alt. db curls-3x8
upright rows-3x8
heavy ab work again

Thursday:
bench press-same pyramid
front squats-3x8
calf raises-same
light ab work

just a base, wanting to see wut u think. i want major growht and increase in strength within nxt few years for football. i have a decent diet, eating about 6-7 times a day, real food bout 250g protein a day. also using creatine mono and drinking plenty of water. i will start up running hills soon here nxt week. thanks alot, kick ass.

Where's the hang cleans out?? Everyone that plays football does those lol..maybe add hang snatch to.

...and damn you squat 500lbs you say, how the hell you do that much? lol I need some pointers.

i HATE hang cleans with a passion, but i suppose i should start em back up again.

and the squats-lol i just have naturally huge legs and very easy to develop, iv used a WIDE ass stance for a long time now and just go heavy and past what i think i can do.

ok on the thursday 4th workout im takin out the bench press and front squats, cuz im still drained from the days prior. but im adding in wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, keeping the calf raises and ab work, and thatl prbly be it. seem like a decent workout routine? i know i should prbly add hang cleans in there, i mite soon

...you could also combine exercises, those are fun lol

like clean n press, or even clean/squat/press all in one. It is really hard finishing a set but is a great exercise.
