k so im watchin this documentary on bruce lee right now. and its showing how he worked muscles especially abs and forearms EVERYDAY. and he is most like the most powerful person to be born. most of us worry about overtraining and wutnot. but look at wut he achieved. i no wut yall are going to say about him having great and superhuman genes and crap. well he didnt. he was a very sickly child and worked hard as hell for his strength and physique. so do yall think were just overstressing overtraining?

Bruce Lee was superhuman, he could do amazing things for his weight, I reckon we should try to be like him but know our limitations...
He truly was born to fight

But Bruce Lee wasn't what I would call "big". Sure he was strong, but he wwasn't training to be a weight lifter or body builder....he was doing it for speed and power....If I didn't want to be a lil bit muscley I'd probably exercise/train every day, too, just like the most guys on UFC do....

Yeah Bruce wasnt big, I know he's weight at the highest was around 9 stone (126 pounds), however his feats in terms of strenght and agility were amazing. Here are some!:
Bruce's striking speed from 3 feet away was five hundredths of a second. Bruce was able to explode 100lb bags with a simple sidekick. he could do push ups on his thumbs and push ups with 250lbs on his back "He'd take a 125lb barbell and hold it straight out" He has massive forearms too! Here's a quote about training I found: Karreem Abdul Jabbar (Game of death and NBA legend) - "Bruce put me on a weight training program during the summer of 1970. It was a three days a week program, comprised mainly of the same stuff he was doing for the major muscle groups. I think I was doing about 2 sets of 12 reps, but it worked". A lil quote to end this from Chuck: Chuck Norris - "Lee, pound for pound, might well have been one of the strongest men in the world, and certainly one of the quickest".

The reason your friends on the football team are making gains and eating like crap is just a by-product of genetics and puberty. In you late teens, you can make huge gains that you will never see again. But, conventional wisdom has shown that your better off not going too crazy until your body is done growing. Also you want to avoid most supplements and drugs. At your age the effects can be very damaging. Even something that people regard as harmless, like marijuana, can have serious affect on a developing brain, factors that are not present for adults. Keep it natural and eat well and you will end up surpassing your buddies by using knowledge and common sense.
