Default Exercise Routine to Lose Fat and Gain Muscle

Hello All:

I'm a guy tired of being overweight and definitely ready to lose that fat. I just finished putting together my home gym Body-Solid EXM1500S. I do not have the time or accesability to a gym. As of now I'm 240 lbs. and my normal weight should be around 190 to 200 lbs.

In order to achive my goal, lose fat and gain muscle, what exercise routine should I follow? Also, will any energy pills like Hydroxicut will help in some way? If you think it will, which one you believe is the best in the market?

I'm ready to rumble, I just need your advise. Any suggestion will be much appreciated, what will be just a comment from you, to me, will be a life changing matter.

Thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge.

Best regards.

sorry to bust your bubble, but your stating in the wrong area. fat loss starts in the kitchen, and is then accentuated with working out. You can do the same workout, and eat two different ways, and gain or lose accordingly.

visit the samples in here on workouts. find a decent workout, add in some cardio and you'll do fine to start. focus on your eating first though, you need to eat for fat loss.

p.s.
next time do't double post, they are likely to lock or delete one of these.

Molokay congrats on your determination. No magic bullets here, just hard work and hard truths. Diet is key to losing weight. Add on good fuel and remember, to lose weight you have to burn more calories then you are consuming. Won't work any other way. Building muscle will help you to burn more calories because you need more calories to build/repair/feed this new muscle. As far as Hydroxycut and other thermogenic pills, save them for the week before you hit the beach or perform in the Chippendale show! Again, diet and exercise will get you where you need to go. Just my opinion but good luck

Hello again:

Thanks for the advise. The kitchen is not a problem, I have that already in control, all i'm looking for is a routing to acomplish those goals both at the same time. I read on post where it says it is posible, however, I do not have the specs for that.

I want to know things like:

- How many exercises per muscle
- How many reps
- How many muscles excercise per day
- How many days a week should I train
- Tricks to make the workout more efficient
- Anything that adds "power" to the training (example: xenadrine, hydroxicut)
- Limitations in regard my current home gym (Body Solid EX1500S)
- What is the best time to excercise

Sorry for post twice, when I first posted here, I though I was on the wrong spot, so I went to the losing weight one.

Anyway, any advise will be much appreciate. Once again, thanks for your support, it makes a difference.

Regards.

Sucks that you wrote all that...

All you had to do was.....

SEARCH!

Beginners Routine

That's a beginner's routine

Focus on the rep range of 8-12
(heavy enough to only pump out 8 and then pump out 4 more)

If you can't do all those exercises in your home gym then look up exercises you can do. We shouldn't do all the work for you should we?
Good luck!

P.S. Don't bother with any other supplements except the basics until you get at least a routine together and you actually see results from it

Smile

Thanks Danny Boy:

Sorry if I put you to work getting the info. That fact is that I saw that particular post and it seems to have some contradictions regarding the routine. The post even concludes by a disagreement on if you need to do abs everyday or not.

There is also disagreement if you excersise 3 times a week or not. So, based on those results, I do not know which way to take go.

Thanks for your repplies. I will keep search till I find some common ground.

Regards.

Good luck with THAT. There's 101 opinions on what's 'best,' but the majority of those opinions are held by people who shouldn't be giving out advice in the first place.
