Good exercise links, its a shame to see that they are still using misleading titles however... all geared to the lazy slob who can't stomach the thought of more than 10 mins exercise and is still led to believe spot reduction works.

10 minute workout - twist away the flab...... spot reduction

Flat abs now - until you open your eyes and realise the guts still there

lose your love handles in three moves - diet, cardio and exercise? ahhh no

It's the oldest scam in the book, I agree. Except for a small sector of the media dedicated to training, the goal is monetary and misleading. I recently had arguements with my wife over the newer health clubs called Curves. Thirty minutes in and out the door. An incredible scam for the club as it allows them to have more members for a small space but does not allow for warming up or stretching or any type of targeting of problem areas.

True.

If they give tough titles peeps would be put off. Short and sweet and achievable is what they are after. However, we all know that results are not easily achievable without hard work.

Right! For this pill popping, quick fix, I want the world now, generation- hard work and dedication tend to be looked at as weird.

TWice a week...but im going to alot more now.
but i read in a Mens fitness mag that because u use your abs so much more than other muscles bcuz its a core one. you have to stimulate it alot more than your arms etc. Plus if you think about it, the abs are a huge contracting muscle, so it needs more stress on it to grow

so 4-5 times a week different routines is a good way to shape the abs.

i have lil body fat, but my abs r ..OK...
i need more abs to let em stick out more with defienition

Yip - running won't work your abs out!
Same type of scenario as "if I do more ab work, will it take the fat off my belly?" - Sure will !!! (according to the infomercials!)

would you train your chest or biceps/triceps 5-6 times a week?

gross over training of the muscle i think, i dont see how a muscle can grow or recouperate if your doing ab marathons

running will lower the bf.....no point in doing abs 5 days a week! It all depends on your bf and how much you want to show those abs? I personally dont want a six pak....just a nice FLAT solid stomach!

I can still pinch an inch!! Dont want that! lol

I wouldn't do abs more than 3x per week or you risk overtraining them. I only do mine 2x per week...

Twice a week is enough. My abs get plenty of work just doing dead lifts, back works, etc. I have always felt the goal of abs work was to build a strong core, not to build huge ab muscles that stick out. So many lifters are overly concerned with building their abs, but have no idea what their abs look like because they are buried under layers of fat.
