Default Leg workout

hey guys im 15 5'9 and around 130 ive been doing leg workouts every monday and wondering if this enough for my quads, hams and calfes

i first do leg press at 260 3x6
then leg extensions at 100lb 3x6
then leg de-extensions? im not sure wut this machine is called but it jus goes down instead of up like the extensions i do 90 3x6 on that
then i do Seated calf raise at 50 lb 3x6 and add 10 lbs on each set

is this enough to get me bigger legs? im tryin to gain alot around my quads and hams im wondering if this is enough if not could someone help me out a little? any help would be apreciated. thanks

I think the machine you are referring to is the "Hack squat" machine. What are you doing for your hamstrings and calves? Make sure you are working all the muscle groups. You may want to mix up the squats and leg presses some.

Default nope not even close.

Do you want Tom Platz legs or anybody elses legs??? Legs are so much work that when your done you should be having trouble walking down stairs for fear of falling on your face. They can take such a beating and come back for more that unless you really bomb the dog snot out of your legs they will never have that comic book look to them.

Introduce yourself to the squat rack and start learning to squat.

BB Squats are the king mover and shaker.... do them first in your routine.

And like NaturalProfessor, you should be kicking your arse mentally and physically to get through those sets.... (praying to god for it all to end is normal).

I'd suggest mixing up your routine... Sometimes going for 3 sets of 12, and other days going going for 4 sets of 6... always shooting to fail by the 3rd and 4th set... (and if you don't fail, you must move the weights up next time).

Squats, lunges, leg presses, and leg extensions, with seated or standing calve press/raises.. is a fairly all round approach.

I've actually been hitting my legs twice a week for while now, and they are blowing the hell up. Although I wouldn't recommend it, cause chances are if your new to hitting your legs hard, you won't be able to recover in time.

Bump on the weighted lunges. I recently added them to my leg routine to mix things up and I have gotten some noticeable gains.
