Default Need Some Serious Advice Please

Ok I wasn't sure where to post this but I just need some advice on my training and diet.I workout monday thru friday.Monday-Chest,HIITcardio,abs. Tuesday-Back,traps,light cardio. Wednesay-Bi/tri,HIIT cardio, abs. Thursday-Shoulders,traps,light cardio. Friday-Legs,HIIT cardio, abs.I generally do about 4 sets with reps between 6-8,and a sometimes 8-10.I stretch before my workouts just to work on my flexibility(i have very tight hamstrings and lower back).I'm 19 almost 20 and have been working out for about 2 1/2 years now.Ive gone from about 145lbs to about 170lbs at my heaviest.I just recently about 2 months ago started doing the cardio and started fixing my diet.I eat 6 meals a day,Breakfast-Eggs/bagel or sometimes cereal(cant remember the name off hand) and sausage. Mid morning-Yogurt or sometimes a lean pocket. Lunch-Chicken and rice, sometimes Steak and potatoes (i like to switch it up time to time).Night snack- again yogurt or lean pocket. Dinner-same as lunch, and sometimes ill have pasta like once a week.I also am taking hydroxycut (almost out) and Im about to order some Nlarge and start taking either NOxplode again or cellmass. Im trying to put on some size, maybe get to like 180 (im around 163 right now since i start trying to lean up),but i also want to stay toned and lose body fat.I could REALLY use some serious advice on how this looks and what i should do differently,Ive seen some decent changes in the past 2 months but nowhere near what i want.I was luckily blessed with good strength and can stay with just about anyone in the gym in most things, especially being only 5'7-5'8 163lbs.Id love any advice i could get, thanks everyone

for a start i would replace the lean pockets with something along the lines of a tuna sandwhich or beans or something along those lines. Not only will you you get more protein in you will also be able to get more nutrients than the lean pockets can provide. Next i would make sure your fueling your body enough the best way to gain wait and lean muscle mass would be sure to take in enough protein to gain more muscle mass.

Second is time and your workout routine. My understand is that when you lower your reps it allows you to build on muscle mass. I would say get off the hydroxicut try to get about 1g of protein in for lb of body weight. I would search that and make sure 1g is right per pound that is what i take and good luck just give it time and patience its hard to gain pure muscle and stay trim and fit. It took me almost 2 years to stay my same weight and replace pounds of bf with pounds of muscle. when i started working out i was 205 at 24%bf and now am 193 at 13%bf. My weight rarely fluctuated more than 20 pounds over the two years good luck.

Hi, try mixing up the routine, what I mean is to do the body parts but in different days or do 2 body parts a day. I always love to do cardio after the weights, not sure if you were doing that (I was about ur size at that age, now I'm 32 weighing 205). One last piece of advice, count your protein intake and shoot for 175-200 grams a day, be carefule with high sodium foods like hot pockets, try to eat more natural, like big steaks and big pieces of chicken breast, good luck man stay motivated!

I think Mitch is running around resurrecting dead threads like a literary necromancer...
