squat form w/ tight calves
I'm just getting back into lifting after a long time away. I've always been somewhat inflexible, especially in my calves. I'm working on this, and hopefully it will improve.
When I do squats, I can't keep my feet planted through the full range of motion. I end up on the balls of my feet at the bottom of each rep. I can do squats like this, but stability is not optimal. Besides working on my flexibility, is there anything I can do to give me more stability?
