multivitamins seem to be bad for you from what im reading and no studies have shown them to improve performance.
vitamin D has shown some very good health benefits. I am currently making a list of things that are good for general health, constantly reading - researching. all please look at this Multivitamins—a Health Hazard? - On Men (usnews.com) many thanks |

How do you know they're "good"? I mean, its not like you get all kinds of extra benefits from them and to be honest, unless you are severly cutting your diet to lose weight, it's really a waste of money.
I used to be all over it, but now, I think its a crock. You piss out most of what's in it anyways.

Yes, most of what we need we should be getting from food but with the way food is mass produced & with all the hormones & crap they pump into livestock these days, the nutrient count is severely lacking in comparison to the same foods produced say 30 - 40 years ago. We do pee most of the supplemented vitamins out but what we do absorb is plugging the holes that our diet may not be quite fulfilling. |

I use ISS Research vitamins. They are only 1 multi-pack and only $10 bucks for a month supply.

I would definitely take them with a meal. My reasoning being some vitamins/minerals are fat soluable. In addition, I would also guess that taking with food will slow down the digestion process from which your body will have more time to absorb the vits/mins in the multi.
But I write this just based on logic. I'm sure somoene else can be more specific on the science behind it and if I'm even on track...but I think it makes sense
