Question MHP's Up Your Mass

Hi
I'm 25yrs, 110lbs and 5.5 height. Very skinny and need to gain weight. I'm very new to the supplement world, so had a few questions.

I just bought MHP's Up Your Mass. I'm having only 2.5 scoops in the day, cause i just started. 1/2 scoop half an hour before gym, 1 scoop after gym (I go to the gym early morning) and then one later in the evening 2 hours after my lunch. All in water.

I had a few questions:

1. Am I taking the right dosage and at the right time? Could you please suggest how should i be taking it.

2. Is it beneficial to take before going to sleep? Won't it bloat me up?

3. Can I have it close to my meals also? Cause I read somewhere that supplements should be taken between meals so you get time to digest them.

4. The main concern that I've been facing is that since I'm having it, I've started peeing a hell lot. I never used to drink a lot of water in the whole day before (which is bad, i know) and hence never even used to pee that much; and now I've just started taking only a little more of water, but not so much so as to pee every hour or so. Is the supplement effecting anything?? Is it a bad side effect?

5. It's been one week since I'm having it, but I've seen no progress. What am I doing wrong?

6. Is Up Your Mass a good gainer? Which gainer would you recommend for me once this is finished?

Any help or suggestions... Please!!!

Suggestion: Eat a lot and workout. Supplements are SUPPLEMENTS to a diet. k bye.

That's true, solid food is the ultimate source. I didn't used to eat a lot earlier but now that i'm going to the gym, i've started hogging. Still since i'm taking supplements now, so wanted to know more about it.

Any other suggestions pls!

Can't state it any clearer then that!

You should get most, if not all, of your nutritional requirements through real food. Mass gainers usually are packed w/ sugars so replace them w/ a good Whey Protein powder if you need extra protein.

mass gainers are not a magic food. like lostboy said, they're just supplements.

there is no shortcut to gaining mass. period.

gaining mass = proper lifting regimen (there are loads of information on this topic in the forum and on the internet - you can start with Body-for-LIFE, Bodybuilding.com - The Future Of Bodybuilding! Huge Bodybuilding Site., www.bodybuildingforyou.com) + a solid diet that meets the extra nutritional needs to allow your body to gain mass + lots of water + LOTS OF REST.

**Important: Your body grows DURING REST, not DURING your workouts. Your workouts provide the stimulus for growth. What you do (and eat) when you're resting between workouts is just as important as your workout itself.

Hi freshlytainted

Thanks for all this info man. I have started hogging like a pig now, since i joined my gym. I am doing excercise 5 days a week in which two days i'm doing only abs which takes only half an hour. the rest days i do 2 body parts together and finish them within 45-60mins. Is this workout schedule ok?
Also could you please advice me when, what and how much should i take if i have a gainer (Up Your Mass) and also a protein (ON's 100% Whey). I go to the gym early morning.

Thanks!!
