Hi all,
I am a 32 year old guy who is of slim build, weighing 11 stone. I have ben the same weight for years and have been a pretty committed gym goer for while now. I go to train 4 days a week for an hour and a half and start my routine with 20min of cross trainer followed by weight training on 2 muscle groups. Although I am committed, I don't feel my efforts compliment my gains. I was on Creatine and after a while noticed quite a difference in size and definition. Unfortunately, the creatine caused mild stomach aches and as a result I stopped in fear of causing damage in the long term. Is there anything I could take that aids in the addition of muscle but does not add fat? At my age and body structure, I am slim but still have to fight the dreaded 'tyre' around the waist. I want to bulk up but fear the fat that I might have to pick up in the process. Can anyone suggest any alternatives. |

I would suggest a basic supplement plan which would consist of a multi-vitamin, which will help you body with any vitamins your not getting. Next you should buy some whey protein and take two scoops a day or whatever is recommended on the product. A pre-workout supplement is also good it helps to give you the energy you need to workout, but they usually have creatine in them.

Supplements are a crutch for a poor diet, i used to take a handfull of pills aday which cost me alot for very slight results, now i take zero supplements however my diet is spot on, so sort your diet out and dont concern yourself with supplements because there is no magic pill out there just a whole load of hardwork and commitment to eating right.
