Default Supplements before and after workout question

I currently take creatine monohydrate and on whey protein.
I was using Cee and I would drink 25grams of protein 15 min before workout and immediately after workout I would mix 25grams of protein with the Cee and grape juice,Should I do the same with the Creatine Mono but drink 5grams before and 5 grams after workout?? And is it wrong to drink grapejuice before workout??Any suggestions would be great.

People usually take creatine after a workout. Yes continue to take it postworkout. CEE IS monohydrate with an ester attached and 5 grams is a sufficient dose. Seeing as how grape juice will give your body an insulin spike thus allowing a better absorption of nutrients it is fine to have it before your workout. Taking creatine with grape juice is a good idea due to this insulin spike. That way you will absorb more creatine as you would if you didnt take it with grape juice.

With the creatine monohydrate, take it after your workout. Taking creatine after a workout will help replenish your creatine phosphate levels, your body absorbs nutrients the best after a workout, and the insulin spike from your post workout shake or meal will drive the creatine in your cells better.

Taking creatine with grape juice is still the method I use and it works fine.
