My question is this: I have seen recommendations on this site for the "loading phase" of creatine . . . apparently you need to take about four servings per day during this phase, while in the second phase you should only take two servings. My question is this: should I only take creatine on the days I work out, or is this supposed to be something I take every day regardless? I was not clear on that point after reading around . . . and I don't want to either use to little and not optimize my results or use to much and do something harmful to myself.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

The loading phase depends on the product your taking. I have taken some that took 1-2 weeks to get into my system and then I have taken some that have gotten into my system in a week...so it depends.
You can take it every day or just on your training days its your call. Its not going to hurt you so you dont really have to worry about that. Also there are different types of creatine...so you may have to do some experimenting to find which one works for you. You can try a bunch of brands to see which one works. I have taken quite a few and the tried and true one for me ended up being Animal Pump. Animal pump has 3 creatines and an NO in it. Best supp I have ever taken hands down.
NO-Xplode/Cellmass stack worked well for a while as well but I prefer the pump over that.
