Been on the site a little while now and read a lot of the threads available to try and avoid regurgitating topics previously covered and, to gain knowledge.
Currently I'm recovering from an injury but heading back (slowly) to my pre-injury regime and when I'm fully recovered I'm hoping to be back in the gym 5 times a week. I'm 29yrs old, 5"10 and weigh 90kg (up from 75). The question I'm wanting to ask is this. Do supplements really make a difference or would I be better trying to get all my nutrients from my food? Before my injury I was eating 5 meals a day and I don't think my diet was bad. Generally I eat: Tuna Chicken Pasta Vegetables Potatoes Cereals Toast (with peanut butter and jam) Fruit (always mixed with milk&yoghurt in a smoothie) Steak (once a fortnight) I'd appreciate your views and if you think I should supplements, can you suggest any? Thanks |
