They are the same thing essentially. Reason people take the pills over the powder is usually just the convenience of it (not having to mix it) or because they can't handle the taste.
Rather your taking a pill/cap, your body is still going to break it down n disperse it. So nothing is better than the other just cause its a pill or powder. What I did in school with my whey was I just carried a shaker bottle and a tiny bag n mixed it right with the water from the water fountain. For creatine you can take it (i assume your taking 6 grams?) all at once. Taking some before n some after or all before/all after really don't make a freaking difference in my opinion.

The directions on almost every supplement ive seen (except for pre workout things of course) say to take it right after your workout.
Im definetly not an expert but taking creatine after a workout when your muscles start repairing would seem more logical and effective to me rather than drinking it at some random time during the day. I got the GNC pro performance creatine pills so hopefully that should bring in results. It was the last bottle in the store so it must be working for someone out there. |
