Default Got Testosterone Levels Checked Need Help!

Today I got back from the doc office and everything came out good. I got a copy and have results of Test levels. He said they were normal, but i think they are low for someone my age (19). Here are results:

Testosterone, Serum - 436ng/dL
Free Testosterone (Direct) - 14.7pg/mL

Isnt range about 300-1000ng/dL for total test? I feel it is low, but he couldnt give me anything. What are some good test boosters that actually work? I was thinking of using Activate Xtreme or something along those lines. Anyone else recommend anything?

So you're doctor told you that the results were normal, but you don’t believe him?

Or are you just being 19 and not wanting to listen...? At least get a 2nd opinion from a professional or do some serious research before you start messing with Test boosters.

No i believe the results....There in my hands right now... I know its in the normal range, but its in the LOW normal range, which is considered normal still... But I have read from various sources and know from others that normal range is in 400-1000 and doc says 241-827, but it is still considered low normal range. He cant do anything because its still considered normal.

I know people that have them in the 800-1000s and its because there at their peak in teenage years. Everyone says at 19 your in your peak and testosterone is flowing like crazy. And i definitly do not see that. So I need to know what would be a good test booster to raise it more. Wish i was in the 800-1000s, is that possible with a test booster?

The normal range is 241-827... not a thousand... I had 531 when I was 18 and people said asians have low test. lol.. But you're in the middle so that's fine.

I really dont know much about T boosters so sorry i cant really help in that area.

Just curious as to why you think you need them though. Are you experiencing any of the symptoms or low T? I just did some reading on the symptoms and honestly i probably fall into at least half of them... and im sure just about every dude in here could pick out at least a couple.

Again, not trying to piss in you're cheerios or anything like that, im just genuinely curious now.

I just feel my test levels should be higher as Im a teen. Every other friend I know has higher test, and sometimes I feel fatigued, been working out for 5yrs and its real hard to gain muscle, I train with friends and know much more than them in nutrition, and Im the one with least muscle.

Anyways I was in another forum and asked. Did research, and came with conclusion to try out Activate Xtreme and see how it works. No AI = good for me right? because I was thinking of 6-oxo but it AI.

and you think that more test in your system will give you more muscles. Interesting thought. But you are wrong.

So, all your friends have had their test levels checked also, and they are higher than yours, and they have more muscle. Interesting again, go smack your mom and dad, because you are talking about genetics now.

Are you tracking your macronutrients? Are you training hard enough?

Um yes the anabolic effects of testosterone are growth of muscle mass and strength, increased bone density and strength, stimulation of linear growth and bone maturation.

And yea i track my macronutrients. Im currently cutting because of my bulk from 1yr and half ago. But most of my bulk was fat, it seems to be because I lost 30lbs and I barely notice the muscle I gained. Im basically just going to cut my fat down to 10% then just clean bulk, thats why I need to know what I can do to raise testosterone because it seems like im producing really slow results and im only 19.

It is not the testosterone that is the issue here but how you train.
I know that you ate enough b/c you said you put on fat so I assume you have the diet figured out somewhat....
Let's say that you have a lower test level like 90% of us..LOL BTW your level is not that low, is low don't get me wrong but not that low
With this being said, for a person who has lower test level you just have to train less but more intense.
What do I mean is go to the gym no more than 3 days a weeks, and train hard for few sets and reps.
I would try for example bench. Warm up light for 2-3 sets starting with
1.light warm up for 12 reps
2.add some weight and do 8 reps
3.add some more weight and do 4 reps
Warm up over
4.As much weight as you can handle for 6-10reps to failure
Done
Do the same with shoulder presses, squats, deads, leg presses spread over 3 days of workouts.

Like somebody said to me when I was trying to kill myself in the gym with high volume of exercises.....99% of the time less is better and it's been true over and over that I lost count!

nope, it is a key ingrediant to HELP in those developments, but taking test alone without proper diet and training will yeild nothing. And by you thinking that it will, lets me know you have more learning ahead.

but if I'm wrong here, please school me a little. Maybe we can swap lifting stories, or compare our lifts a little

vassille, i understand when you say intensity, thats what im doing now. I used to train with high volume as well, and when i bulked I did absolutely no cardio, now im running more, or using HIIT and at first I got real tired, but im increasing slowly and am able to run longer distances as well.

And hrpiii, of coures I know that high test without proper diet and training wont make me gain. I already stated my diet is good, im cutting right now though. And my workout routine is good. But even vassille stated my test was low for my age. Thats why I wanted to try Activate Xtreme + proper diet and training = better results IMO. Better than now because of low test. I dont mean I will get incredible results just better than now.

Theres nothing wrong with your test score. Its almost middle of the road. If youre having trouble gaining its more likely related to diet or training.

ok ill state everything. Diet right now is:

Meal 1
-Oatmeal + Whey Iso w/water or 3-4eggs + bagel (wholewheat), havnt ate eggs so its oatmeal almost everyday. Sometimes with banana.

Meal 2
-1cup cottage cheese w/fruits and mix of nuts
-whey iso w/water

Meal 3
-Chicken Breast w/rice 1cup
-1cup veggies

Meal 4
-Sandwich lettuce tomatoe, cheese, chicken or roastbeef on wheat bread.

Meal 5
-Protein Bar w/Whey Iso (water)

Meal 6
-Oatmeal w/ shake (casein) or more chicken.

Supps: Multi (opti or now), Aminos Xtend, Whey Iso (GF Pro or 4ever Fit), Pure Protein Bars, Flax seed oil.

Forgot to state Preworkout: Aminos. Post: Whey iso w/water. Usually after meal 1 I workout.

My goal now is to cut to 10% bf, then clean bulk by adding +500cal.

Workout:

Im trying different routine:
Mon
Chest
Tricep

Tue
Cardio/HIIT

Wed
Back
Bicep

Thur
Cardio/Hitt

Fri
Legs

Sat
Rest

Sun
Shoulders,Traps
Abs
Bicep

This is different because its only 1 body part a week and doing high intensity not high volume, will usually do about 3-4 sets each body part, with slow steady reps at all times mostly to failure. In the gym for about 45min.

I used to be in gym for 2hr. with high volume 3-4sets for each excercise a body part. Had about 3-4 different excercises per body part. This was when I was bulking and my diet was 8 meals a day. It was a dirty type bulk. I now regret dirty bulks because of the fat. Fat cells will always stay in the body. Ok im done

i agree with joe. axe most of your protein drinks and replace them with real food.
