Theguns has a spectacular aura about
Default Creatine Questions

Im going to start creatine loading proably next week and i had a few questions...My goal is to gain muscle

1. Im not very big so i was wondering is 20g/a day for 4 days too much or me? should i do 15? or maybe even 10?

2. I work out on m/w/f each day i do a major muscle group with other smaller groups so if i load for 4 days than those muscle get a lot of creatine to recover with while on friday that muscle group only gets like 5g that day?

I did the math and with a gold card plus a sale im going to get Creadrive from GNC for free...with the purchase of some other stuff (I buy supps with my friend because ussualy the more you buy the bigger the discount)

Creadrive is sort of GNC's version of cell tech expet with 5g per serving and 34g of dextrose

You dont need to load up, that is the old school thought process.
I havent loaded up in years and have good success each time without doing so.

I say save you money and just start taking about 10-15 grams in everyday, no loading

I'm a little reserved so i just go 5grams a day. but it takes 21 days to fully saturate. that doesn't mean you won't feel the affects till then, i feel the benifets in about 2 weeks

I imagine that the loading/unloading is what always gave me the trots....glad to hear that is not the case any longer.

Yes, loading is optional..

Taken from my sticky..

You can load or not load, its your preference. Loading is not necessary. The loading phase means taking 20 grams a day in 4 divided doses for 5 days then doing a maintenance phase of about 3-5 grams per day. You can however achieve the same results by not loading and only taking 5 grams a day and it will take about 21 days to achieve the same muscle saturation as the loading phase. The 5 day loading phase will just get you saturated quicker.

Loading will not force your muscles to take in more creatine than not loading. Your muscles can only hold so much creatine and thats all. It would be like trying to put 16 ounces of water in a 12 ounce glass, cant be done.

creadrive isnt going to last you very long....... order online....... get ISS Research creatine monohydrate, or a similar creapure product. If you cant get any dextrose, then buy powdered gatorade. Its probably better anyway cuz it has sodium in it, which will further enhance nutrient uptake.

As far as these little "angels" telling you not to load, I'm going to be the devil and tell you to ignore them. Creatine is cheap. Do the load phase. It'll get you to where you wanna be faster. As far as your question about dosing. You would be fine at 15-20 grams a day for 4-5 days. If you wanna hit 6 days thats fine too. As far as the rest of your cycle, 6 to 10 grams total each day, split up twice a day, once in the morning, and once post workout. 10 might be a bit much for you and you bodymass.
