Default What to be carefull with?

Well iv just purchased two 2.25kg 'allin1' Whey along with some 'allin25' multi vitamins. Total price of £40.

I know these are the two most necessary and foundational supplements in bodybuilding (along with creatine?) so im guessing there wont be many ingredients in them that i need to watch out for. (too much could be dangerous, say if i was taking some other sort of supplement which contained simliar ingredients which put too much of this subsance into my body.)

I just want to know what i should be watching out for when buying more sups such as creatine as so i dont mess up my body with to much of something that could be damaging. (they say dont have too much glutamine? its in whey?)

Before you say, im not stupid, im obviously not going to be taking in 10 servings of whey and munching down those multi vitamins, i shall be following the guildline amounts. However i am worried about taking in too much of something when taking multiple supplements.

ALSO, any bad sides to Creatine? My mum wants me to do some more research into side effects before she will buy it for me.

THanks

As long as you don't overdo the recommended doses, you'll be perfectly fine. If you do take too much, you'll experience some side effects like diarrhea.

EDIT: How old are you?

Yea I'd just take 1, maybe 2 vitamins a day. I heard on the news that too many can cause prostate cancer or something, I think they said it had to do with the high amounts of zinc?

Taking too many vitamins over time can be dangerous, but you have to absorb at least like 200% of the recommended value daily (for about a week or so). You can bleed from the eyes and all kinds of stuff.

Just follow the directions, and you'll be perfectly fine.

Ok thanks. Well i've just turned 17.

You think this will be ok:
Two 30g servings of whey a day - Three on workout days.
Two multi vitamins a day.
And when i get ceatine, twice a day (5g each time) - Three times on workout days.

???

Are you taking creatine monohydrate? Just keep it at two servings of 5g a day, I take my creatine PWO and then 5 or so hours later. For your case, if you workout later in the day you can take 1 serv first thing in the morning and then the 2nd PWO.

When you say you're taking 3 serv whey on workout days, that's not all PWO right? Too much protein at a time does you no good, you should have more carbs than protein for your PWO shake, like dextrose(what I take),gatorade, maltodextrin, any high glycemic carb really.
