Let me repeat your question back, to make sure I understand. Are you asking "if its ok to drink gatorade after your workout?" If thats right, then the answer is yes. You can drink powdered gatorade. Its good stuff. If your asking "if its ok to drink gatorade with creatine?" The answer is yes again. I've been doing it for at least a week now. Although I prefer 100% dextrose. The gatorade is good though. It has dextrose(at least the powdered form does), sodium and also I believe potassium.

If your asking if its ok to drink a high GI/II carb post workout while dieting, my answer would be yes, but thats debatable.

Insulin is a wild beast. You dont need creatine to take advantage of its positive or negative effects. Read the link in my signiture.

Glycemic/Insulin Index and Diet

In terms of cutting and spiking insulin post workout......... Its debatable. I say go for it.

Creatine does not need dextrose. However it may be advantageous. If you are sensitive to creatine, you will feel the effects from it no matter what.

Yeah, you dont need dextrose, but it will for sure help. Obviously creatine makes its way into our muscles from the food we eat, however, when we eat, insulin is released, just not to the same degree as when consuming a bunch of dextrose. What I question here is if there is any negative feedback as our muscles begin to take in more creatine then normal, making it more difficult to cross the cell membrane. If there is any basis on this, then insulin may be required.
