http://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/he...x-seed-oil.htm The BCAA's in pill form should be okay if not a better idea compared to powder form. A. BCAA's are horrible tasting. B. I don't anyone would see a difference with taking BCAA's in powder or cap form with respect to absorbtion. Highly doubt that so I wouldn't recommend fearing away from the pill form due to that reason. You should take the BCAA's 30 minutes to a hour BEFORE workout. Or with dinner/big nutritional meal.

For BCAA's I would recommend a powder, just because it's much more cost effective. Most pills I see have a recommended daily dosage of 3g or so, when in reality most use 10-20g of BCAA's a day. The pills can get very expensive if you're using that much of them.
Flaxseed oil should be taken right before bed. I take 1000mg every night, I'm actually not 100% how these should be dosed, ie. if I should be getting more than 1g a day, I guess I never really thought about it... but yeah, take them before bed, 1-2 pills I suppose. And you should count the flax seed pills in your daily calories, after all they are contributing calories. |

toronto, my advice is go on-line and get them in powder form. This is more cost efficient.
I dont take flaxseed oil myself. As for my BCAA's, I usually take them 20-30 minute prior to my workout. and if Im doing cardio after my lifting session, I take another dose prior to getting on the treadmill.

What are the benefits of taking BCAAs prior to lifting?
