Default Ethyl Ester Question

It seems that almost every supplement has been 'Ethyl Esterfied'. I don't necessarily understand what it DOES TO the given supplement, but I believe that it improves 'delivery' of the supplement. Can anyone explain to me how this occurs and what the improved 'delivery' actually entails? Is it shielding the product from being broken down somewhere in your body? Is it expediating the delivery of the nutrient to your muscles; or into your bloodstream? AND; what does the ethyl 'estrification'(probably not a real word!) process entail?

I am currently taking 'Axis Labs' BCAA's with 'estersorb'(ethyl ester) technology . Not sure if I should be ingesting anything that posesses technology!!!

All it is is a molecule thats been attached to the creatine molecule during the process of being made.

Your right about the rest. The Ester helps get the creatine that it is attached to into the bloodstream faster which means into your cells faster.

A vast improvement over regular creatine and since the delivery is so efficient, loading phases with the newer creatines are obsolete.

For greater details you could just google or any search engine. Theres a ton of detailed information out there so no use reinventing the wheel.

Yes, it supposed to improve the absorption of a substance. It is an ester attached to another substance to do this. Creatine being the first I believe to use this and gain popularity. Esters are found in fat tissues.

The reasoning behind it is that creatine uses lipids to penetrate cells and the ester attached to it will help it penetrate easier and better.

the primary effect that esterification has on creatine is reducing acid hydrolysis to creatinine before reaching the plasma.

the same delivery technology is used on valtrex (and other amino based drugs)

google it, or look at wikipedia under the heading of 'organic chemistry' or something similar, as esters fall under that category (at least from what i remember bak in chemistry ).

and bump to the rest.

if you want to find good information on ethyl ester delivery it is found under valacyclovir.
