Default Mixxing protein and mass gainer with milk the night before

Hey,

Is it alright to mix protein or mass gainer with milk in a single serving size container the night before and store it in the fridge for consumption the next day for lunch, before workout etc.? The problem is I'd like to mix it with milk instead of water so I can get in more calories, but I dont want to carry a bag full of milk in separate containers along with food and my supplements. I dont want the supplements to go bad or become useless cuz they're pretty expensive .

Thanks.

Personally, I dont recommend letting them sit for very long. The best bet is to mix them and drink them right away. The verdict is still out on whether they start to denature if you let them set. But I do know the longer you let them sit, the worst they start to taste and smell.

I have noticed, especially with gainers, that if you let them sit, they get thicker and thicker. Back when I wasted money on gainers, if I didn't drink them in less than 15 minutes it'd essentially turn to liqui-brick. Especially if I added oats.

I too believe drinking them fresh is the way to go. No questions asked then and what I did when I would need to take one at work was I had a small coffee canister with milk in it.

Mixed it right in that canister and drank away.
