Im looking to take 2 servings of a weight gainer a day (1 in morning/night)
This will add about 100+g protein, and around 2000+ calories

I am Looking at:
PROLAB N LARGE


MAMMOTH 2500
Per 235 g Serving = 4 Rounded Scoops
Energy
970 Cal
Protein
50 g
Fat
18 g
Carbohydrate
152 g

I'd go ProLab.

I've had a look around to try & find the sugar content in the Mammoth 2500 & no site seems to be able to tell me.

yea its not good if u cant even find out the sugar content in something. definitely a lil suspect there, and so many carbs in that one. ProLab is the lesser of two evils in this one.

mammoth will more than likely put too much fat on you. you may get away with it on nlage if you workout regularly,cardio 3-4times a week

2 servings will add 1200cals and 104g of protein with water. you could take it with low fat milk for an extra protein boost.
i usually use nlarge once a day if i aint got time to make a meal. it tastes good. but it is another sugar loaded drink as with most weight gainers.

I'd go with NLarge. Good thing about weight gainers is that most if not all of them are good tasting lol.

in canada Mammoth & Musclejuice and about $45/10lb and NLarge is around $70/10lb. im not too worried about the sugar content because im a hard gainer.

Im not a big fan of weight gainers but if you decide to buy one, I would suggest "Up Your Mass" by MHP. Its main source of carbs is oats and barley, not sugars.

how much do you think i should expect to gain if i took 2 servings of one of these weight gainers a day (w/2% milk) and also eating a good bit of food throughout the day.

I think you will get good and fat w/ 2 servings a day.

How about Pro Complex Gainer or cytogainer, both have less than 6 gms of sugar.

You should only need to do one serving a day, and I would suggest splitting that serving up to morning and afternoon.

i am thinking to do 2 servings a day of 3 scoops, not 4 scoops like it says.
also i am leaning towards getting strawberry flavour. right now i have chocolate ON Whey and its not too great.

Dont listen to these people about the sugar. One serving has only 25 grams. 25 grams is not much sugar in the grand scheme of things. Personally I love NLarge. I only take it in half servings though (2 scoops). Oddly enough, youve managed to find regular Nlarge, the only kind I can find is Nlarge II. Nlarge 2 has 3 grams less sugar (the pic you posted has 28g). Since I have only seen NLarge 2, I always refer to it as just NLarge.

NLarge is an ideal PWO shake. It has protein, carbs from maltodextrin, and some saturated fat to produce test. Ive read numerous articles about PWO nutrition and Nlarge seems to hit all the key areas.

Honestly though, one can of soda has almost twice as much sugar as 4 scoops of NLarge. Dont worry about the sugar.

To add on to the above, truthfully you don't need to add 4 scoops to every serving like it says. I added only 1 .5-2 scoops with milk and settled fine with that.


If you follow the recommendations, you'll blow thru the tub fast.

I use the chocolate, tastes just like a chocolate whey shake.

And if you look closely, it even recommends splitting it into half servings, which is what I do.
