Default Is one creatine supp better than the next?

Last time I went to GNC to pickup the creatine supplement I use (CreaDrive), the sales guy (who I cannot stand because he is ALWAYS trying to get you to buy something you dont want or need) showed me this 50 dollar bottle of a different type of "new" creatine supp that, in his words, "forces the creatine into the muscles and is therefore much more effective".

The creatine supp I take has like 5.25g of creatine, 34g or so of carbs and taurine in it (its a drink, not a pill). Are the creatine supps that come in pill form any better or worse? Is there a better creatine supp out there that might get me any better results?

I used the CreaDrive. I liked the cycles I had with it. The salemen is trying to get you to buy a better product (yes there is better creatines) but 50 bucks is too much. Buying the newer forms of creatine online is probably the way to go.

The newer type(s) of creatine you may look into is: CEE, Kre-alklyn and some of the others that people have been reporting good gains with. One of these (depending the name of the product your refering to) is probably the type of creatine that the GNC guy was trying to sell you. The older method of creatine is creatine monohydrate which takes time to build up into your cells and requires a spike of insulion (dextrose, malto-dextrin, etc, look at the stuff thats in CreaDrive.) These newer creatines have properties that are attached to the creatine which get it into your muscles faster and better...

Research for more info.

As a matter of fact I think it was that kre-alkyn stuff you mention that he was trying to sell me.

I am reading that the newer types (CEE and the like) are much better, but are they worth the price difference? I haven't cycled any creatine since my early days of college (10 years ago) and the only thing then was the mono. The loading was awful, not to mention the "distress" it caused on my internals - usually during both the loading and unloading phases post cycle. I poked around on one of my online supply sites, and there were 8 or 9 pages of just creatine - nothing I recognized. Any tips or suggestions?

So I read some reviews on the front BB4U page. Lots of folks like the NO Xplode by BSN. Seems like good stuff, if a bit high. Jim's own review of the V12 Turbo was very favorable too. Anyone have any advice between these two? I'll be looking for something in the next few weeks, once my nOOb gains start to diminish.
What's amazing to me though, even at 32, is how well my body is responding to good nutrition (pretty clean, but I enjoy a bad snack now and again) and hard work. Maybe my body just remembers what it used to be like, I don't know. But, I had to work twice as hard while I was in college to get results like I'm getting now - of course my diet then consisted of beer and pizza, and a scoop of creatine now and again...
