Default Does everyone hear have protein shake 3 times a day?

Is takin protein shake morning, post workout, and night the best way to go about it. And do the same rules apply when cutting?

I used to take 3...but i try to get more protein from real food now. I am down to only taking one when I wake up because it's fast and easy in the morning.

I hit three a day, 1 before I work out, 1 before bed, and I wake up 4 hours into sleep and hit another one. I am in a bulking cycle though and I do eat alot of high protein real food. Tastes like chicken.

when bulking, I hit at least 2, sometimes up to 5... Depending on my schedule and how is my access to real food... Real food is always better, but 2 of them are my Pre workout shake, and my post workout shake...

i was always told that protien shakes are an aid of protein not a must. Meaning that protein shakes should be taken if you cant reach the amount you need in a day, and to get most protein from real food. So on that note i only take one after work outs, and one in the morning (if i need to get my protein intake up for that meal).

I take 2 daily, 1 is PWO and a casein before bed...If I dont have access to food Ill throw another one in but I prefer food to shakes...

Big waste of money so 0 protein shakes for me, like most people i dont have money to waste so my money is spent on real food.

BUMP to that CC.

Shakes fill me up for about.....30 minutes? I have a shake PWO and one at night to keep me anabolic. I tend to have a shake in the morning when I don't feel like eating a meal in the morning to keep my stomach busy for about an hour and then I eat a meal. I hate hating eating solid food in the morning. Having a weak morning stomach sucks

i will have shakes when i think i havnt eaten enough and when food isnt available. i love food tho.

I usually take 1 after workout and one next morning... otherwise I get sick of the taste and tired of drinking them...

That's how I do it. On non-training days I take one in the morning and one before bed.
