Default Somethin that gets you up

I'm gonna be starting a flag football league soon and I was just wondering if anyone knew anything that you took or ate a little before physical activity like football that gets you really up and awake. Something that gets me pumped i guess, but not really like a pump that you would want for a workout...sorry if that is confusing.

Carb up...Carbs are the primary source of fuel for the body.
Oatmeal, banana's and some protein will work pretty good

About an hour sounds fine. Bananas have a lot of potassium so they make a good choice before any cardio activity. If you're looking for some gittyup you can try some coffee.

Caffiene, the banana recommendation was a good one. Carbs are great source of energy.

You just gotta put your mind in a place that gets you excited about what your preparing to do. Pretty much every football practice I was excited after putting all the pads on n gearing up. I assume you love the sport or else you wouldnt be playing it, just find that 'extra' appreciation for it and you can get your body worked up w.o supplements.

Caffiene tho is cheap n will do the trick.

Ensure good nutrition on a regular basis and a CHO load isn't necessary.

The caffeine will work effectively, but obviously I'd suggest not making it a habit.

For me it's Ventolin. But then again I'm asthmatic.
I also take BCAA. Suppose to help recuperated oxygen in the body.
Maybe it's all in my head but seam’s to work.
Coffee makes my mouth dry. I prefer energy drink.

Yeah good advice. You shouldn't use it everyday. Everday you shouldn't have to use it. If your that tired n need of a pick-up all the time, well then there is something else wrong.

Thanks for clearing that up Stay Puft!
