Maybe for you it is?
But for me, every time I start a creatine cycle (maybe once or twice a year) I gain at least 15 lbs in a 8 week span. Sometimes even more. I lose about 5 lbs from water weight when I get off of it (so thats about 33%) of the weight from water. The rest is muscle and fat gains. Maybe I am a Creatine freak, because I dont get the bloat from mono either. * I give some due credit for my weight gains to creatine. * One thing to mention is that new studies are showing that Creatine assists the body in synthesizing protein. So in other words, while on it, your body is processing protein more efficiently, thus more access to protein equals more muscle growth. |

When I myself took Kre-Alk I felt no stronger than normal and I used it for a month and I only gained about a few pounds. With Mono I DEFINITELY feel stronger during my works and I have conceivably gained a ton of weight with it's help thru a few cycles this past year. * 32 lbs from Jan to June 2006 |

Kre-alk is the one of the newest forms of creatine so of cource yaboyjjones will be on the band wagon. Whenever a new product comes out he's the first to recommend it. I agree with you though. Mono seems to work the best and I've tried practically every form of creatine out there. Gonna go back to mono....

creatine mono = old school = big ass mofos
When I start up creatine again next year, I am going with mono. Haven't taken creatine since college, so it will be fun for sure.
