thanks for the advice guys, i thought i was training hard but, iv realized i have to go the next level, i play football twice a week so thats the only cardio i do is that enough? and one more thing, usually i do a 15-20 minute warm up on the rowing, or bikes b4 my workouts, so that my body is all warmed up. do u think this is ok guys?

Short answer:
lift hard/heavy and give your body a reason to add new muscle. Then nourish it with lots of protein and carbs. You need to eat in excess of you daily caloric needs but if you lift half-assed and eat alot of food you will get fat. |

I noted you said "I've just started going...", just out of curiosity how long?
It takes time to get some good results too...so just keep at it, and like these guys are saying, make sure your diet's in check and keep working hard. You'll get good results if you're patient and do it right. I know, cuz that's what I need to tell myself too.

I dont think you need 20 minutes to warm up. but as long as it isnt affecting your workout.
