Default Protein Bars at Costco

Tonight I noticed Costco carries Premier Nutrition Protein bars... 30-31 grams of protein, 12-16 grams of carbs and about 280 Calories.
[ DO NOT POST LINKS, READ TOS!]

They are selling 2 packs w/ 12 bars each (variety) for $20.... tried one tonight... not bad, one of the better tasting bars I have tried... ain't no snickers though...

I'd be more interested in reading the actual ingredients. A lot of protein bars have high fructose corn syrup and other crap in them.

Hey Merk, just a bit of info for you, whenever you see "corn syrup" on an ingredients label, that just means glucose-fructose. It's the same thing. Corn syrup was just a product name they came up with once they developed the technique to seperate glucose en masse. Makes a ****ty protein bar.

Personally, I think it's better to stay away from protein in bar form anyway. Just get whey and eat that, just down it quick and follow it with some quality food protein sources, like steak or chicken. It's just plain better for you.

I'm talking about high fructose corn syrup, which is complete crap and robs the food of its nutrient value. The only reason I eat protein bars at the moment is because I'm deployed and work out on the flightline so having the convenience of a meal isn't always possible.
