Whats best in your opinion

Alright, I've been looking aroudn on the threads for the best postworkout protein and getting different views on it. Some like Muscle Milk, some 100% Whey gold standard.

So what gives the best results between either of these or others that you take?

Just trying to find the best protein for me. The Vanilla is starting to taste bad IMO

You mean what WORKS the best or what TASTES the best?

Because pretty much any whey protein is going to be sufficient and all will work about the same.
Brand to brand will not make a noticable difference and one will not give you better results over another no matter what the manufacturers claim.
Were talking Coke v.s Pepsi here ----> It's all the same sh!t with different tastes

If you are after taste go with ON Whey, but that's just my opinion as I can care less about taste.
I down it for the protein and amino content and it's down the hatch in less than 3-4 seconds

I've tried both but for different purposes. ON whey is typically used as a PWO supplement or as a protein boost add to a shake throughout the day. I used Muscle Milk as a weight gainer (in milk of course) and took it at bed time. Muscle Milks claims are fancier though

It's not so much as Coke vs. Pepsi like BGLD said, but more like apples & oranges because I wouldn't recommend Muscle Milk as PWO. Make sense?

Well I was referring to WHEY protein, not milk based or casein.

I just used your coke vs. pepsi example because I was talking about the different ways I used the products. In the end, they were both valid points made

For post workout, stick with the whey protein. If you want a good flavor, try ON chocolate mint. To me, its by far the best tasting whey.

I used to take that a while back w/ Gatorade PWO and it didn't taste too harsh whatsoever.

The best tasting whey I've tried by far is synergestic nutrition 100% lean and clean. It tastes so good you're sorry you drank it so fast. It's expensive though.

I used to love this protein made by Weider called "Big". It tasted like a real chocolate malt. Loved drinking it. I wish they would bring that back.

Well, thanks anyways Amazin, I went to that site and it is not there. Big was an older Weider product. It has long been discontinued. The only Weider product I used. They only make the Mega Mass now. I tell you though, it was the best tasting stuff. I actually looked forward to drinking it.

I tried Mega Mass before, gained some weight off it but I'm sure it wasn't muscle mass. That's probably cause it has large amounts of sugar in it

I say screw the taste....Its gone so fast that it doesn't even matter to me
