Default Taurine

I have noted that all energy drinks have a bunch of different crap in them, but they all contain taurine. Would it not be better to just supplement with pure taurine for the energy boost, and also less expensive?

Thanks.

if you believe it helps...yes, and some do. personally, i think the levels are so low that its not helping as the claims say. you'd have to supplement a lot to make any noticable difference..

but many do supp taurine as they do any other supp.

lol. I'm bored. plus I like to answer posts with no answers rather than posts debated on for ever. :-)

I know what it was like to post a thread and sit and wait for someone to answer...kinda sucks waiting.

Yeah, they're very low levels. The main thing in energy drinks that do anything is guarana extract and caffeine.

from what i remember theres only 700mg of taurine per energy drink (well some, there all different). if ur going to supplement i would take more then that...700mg is nothing IMO. i also doubt the taurine enhances the effect of the caffine like some compainies claim.
