Alright i've got a few questions:
1.) is mixing creatine mono with koolaid going to deliver the same insulin spike as grape juice? 2.) Since muscle milk boosts internal Creatine development should i take Creatine mono as well as muscle milk. 3.) I've have heard that it takes creatine 1 hour to fully get into the bloodstream and muscles, so it is best to take 1 hour before workout. is this true? |

ok some1 just answer this question. if you are looking to train for muscular strength and you take creatine, any form of it, how duz it benefit u. if im not mistaken it just draws water to your muscles making them bigger. this just makes them look bigger, and duznt increase your strength right?? please explain to me if i am wrong

Creatine can boost strength (about 1-2 reps worth) b/c it is the energy transporter of muscle. It is good for strength training and if you use CEE you wont get the water retention you were talking about.

ok but i dont get it, with protein theres protein synthesis which builds solid muscle, wut happens with creatine? it goes to the muscle and then what makes it make the muscle bigger, volumizing the cells with water right? even with cee, it just makes sure there is no left over water outside of the muscle cells.but in the muscle cells creatine volumizes them with water right? causing bigger looking muscle but no stronger muscle? please some1 explain!

How does creatine work? To understand how creatine works, it's important to know a little about where your body gets its energy from. Just like different countries throughout the world use different forms of currency, your body has its own energy currency. Known as adenosine triphosphate (or ATP for short), it provides energy for every move you make and every chemical reaction that occurs in your body. ATP is constantly broken down and "re-created". Energy is released when one of the phosphates that form ATP is "broken off". During high-intensity exercise (such as a 60-meter sprint), the stores of ATP are depleted rapidly, and a quick method of reattaching the phosphate is required. That's where creatine comes in. When your body stores creatine, some of it is attached to a phosphate group. Whenever ATP "loses" a phosphate, creatine "donates" one of its own to support the resynthesis of ATP. The fatigue you experience during short bouts of high-intensity exercise (such as a 60-meter sprint) is linked with an inability of muscle to maintain a high rate of ATP resynthesis from creatine phosphate. In other words, if ATP is broken down more quickly than it can be resynthesized, you'll run out of energy. Creatine supplementation increases the levels of creatine in muscle. Short-term creatine supplementation (15-30 grams per day for 5-7 days) increases total creatine stores by 15-30% and creatine phosphate levels by 10-40%. basically it allows you to do more work. but if someone is not training properly, they wont see any benefit from it.

What about liquid creatine ? no one really capped on it, has anyone tried it? I got a bottle of pure liquid creatine monohydrate made by BodyTech and I'm taking five full droppers under my tounge as directed (for faster absorbion). Before and after my workouts. And sometimes before bed on hardcore training days. I'm pretty sure I get no water retention or cramps

how long ago did you get it? i just searched that product and found this
This product has been discontinued by Body Tech and is no longer available for purchase. liquid creatine products contain barely if any creatine in the final product ![]()

2) the muscle milk/creatine deal isnt about much and could have some health risks associated with it. so take creatine seperately if you use muscle milk 3) it takes quite awhile for creatine to be absorbed and utlized. taking creatine before a workout will have no bearing on that particular workout. when we supplement creatine, we are increasing creatine stores in the body. thats why its common to take it after training, when we aim for an insulin response.

Personally I'm surprised that people are still taking creatine mono. I switched to kre-alkalyn (purple k) about 6 months ago and I'm seeing HUGE results. I had cycled creatine mono for about 5 years but I think it was more of a mental boost. When I switched to kre-alkalyn I saw the difference and I've had many friends also comment on my increase in mass. To each his own I guess but I would never go back to cre-mono.

I have been reading this trying to decide on what creatine to get all over this forum. I started looking at NO Xplode but I guess that has very little creatine and many say buy SAN V-12 Turbo instead and that it is the best. But now I am reading about Cellucor M5 extreme from this thread saying it is the best because of the kre-alkalyn. From what I can tell M5 is kre-alkalyn but V-12 is not so now I am leaning towards purchasing the M5 instead. For a beginner like myself is this the way you all would go??

Yeah....if you want the best (IMO) get CE2....it is really expensive, but it really works great (can't wait until I hit my traps later!!
)....However, if you are considering NO Xplode you are already in the "big spender" zone so CE2 might be right up your alley.

OK I was reading about CE2 and it is 'CREATINE ETHYL-ESTER HYDROCHLORIDE' in your opinion this is better than the M5 kre-alkalyn creatine or the V-12. I have to add this to the list of options. Do you stack this with anything or just take the 4 capsule daily dosage by itself?
I would also still love others opinions on which is best and why!! |

CE2 is the best I have tried. You take two pills in the morning and two either before or after you work out (I prefer after, but that is just me). People swear by V12 and Kre-Alkalyn too, but I have never tried them.

I take Pycnogenol with it and have taken various NO boosting supps with it as well. No reduction in results that I could tell. In fact, NO boosters are often combined with it.

i still use mono. i dont like to buy from a company that bases its products on complete lies like kre-alkalyn. there may be something to the product but everything they say about "regular" creatine is a complete fabrication.
