I enjoy MuscleTech products and Cell-Tech is a great creatine product. And when Im taking the regular powder, Im not mixing it if you read in my post at the front of the topic. I just put the powder in my mouth and chase it with a glass of grape juice, then I drink a glass of water afterwards. There is no mixing and no coversion.

Nite, you sound like a man who knows whats up, but com'on now there is 100% conversion. That not me blowing smoke, thats just simply the facts behind it....

I had a guy tell me about 8 months ago, that "creatine is dead, kre-alakyn is god"....and I was like yea whatever, creatine is creatine. The after a while I tried this M5 the guy was talking about and now I am a understand what HE was talking about. Just trying to help out with the experience of a better product thats all.....

I have tried taking it with water, and I just don't like it. I take mine with Gatorade, and putting a heaping scoop of creatine in your mouth while washing it down isn't all that bad, u get used to it. But I heard that taking creatine with water was almost useless...any truth?

The kre-alkalyn and esters have been around for 6-8 months, maybe a little longer. Price difference is prob double vs the monohydrate, but most will get 10x the gain. I will say it will/should be cheaper than cell-tech.

Nite I do agree cell-tech is a good creatine....not bashing it at all....75 g of sugar per serving was part of my desire to try something else. To much simple sugars leads to fat gain, and I don't want that.

Dosage 4-5 g kre-alkalyn = 12-15 g monohydrate.....utilization wise.

Thumbs up Anywhere

Yes you can buy Kre-alkalyn anywhere, internet GNC wherever. Not all creatine monohydrate has 75 g of sugar, just cell-tech. Pure mono has 0 g of sugar.....but then again cell-tech is much better than pure mono.

whoa whoa..taking creatine with water is useless? i know juice gives u an insulin spike to help with absorption but i dont really see how taking it with water especially right away would make it useless..wouldnt the acids in juice make the creatine dissolve faster which makes it useless.

its fine to take with water, but carbs do shuttle nutrients into the muscle faster, and the muscle neeeds glycogen recovery after a workout. so juice is great, water will work fine as well

Thumbs up CEE-More effective than Creatine Malate?

Hi Nite.Hi guys.Iīm new around here so i hope i learn more with you people.
Nite i have a question.Cell-Tech CEE are so effective as creatine malate that we find in v12 for example?Does CEE have water retention?Creatine malate does not have retention as mono do.
You were saying that you are using cee and that you saw good results.the difference is that you take less daily grams. So 1 serving in CEE is two caplets and they say to take it 2 servings per day.i donīt know how many grams have each caplet.but tell me with CEE i donīt do the loading phase?start to take it 2 serv.per day during 8 weeks as V said ou 4 as i heard from another people(it depends on you)and then stop?and if i do 4 weeks after the loading(if thereīs loading in CEE)i reduce next weeks to just 1 serving(2 caplets)?
please help me out.sorry if my english is not that so good and if my questions are a little confused.. iīll try to improve it next time.thanks
Greetings from Portugal

If you take CEE with Countrytime Lemonade powder will the citric acid in it effect the creatine if you drink it right away?

at certain times the body requires use of simple sugars and carbs... one of those times is after an intense workout, so i doubt the sugars in the creatine would amount to much fat... any other time i would agree about leading to fat gain

cell tech is too pricey, my cee is cheap and the taste is tolerable... and effective..

I take my Cell-Tech right after my workout, then 20 minutes later, I drink my whey post workout shake.

Studies have shown creatine to be very safe for people. Any known bad side effects are extremely rare and in a lot of cases probably are the results of other things a person is doing or taking, not just the creatine. There really has been no extensive studies done with creatine and teenagers. There are probably thousands of teenagers taking it now with no side effects. CEE hasnt been around as long as regular monohydrate, so the studies on it will come.
14 is very young. No, I dont think you will get any harmful effects from it but at your age, I would wait awhile and just eat good, take vitamins, and some protein. You should be fine. To be sure on the teenager question, ask your doctor for sure.

You asked this question in several places so this is where I answered it.

Vandy I dont want to make things anymore difficult for you than they have to be but its not really an exact science when taking supps. However timing does play a pretty big role in how effective it will work but I wouldnt piss my self if I took my creatine 26mins later than what the instructions say.
I take creatine before and after my workout and I also mix my creatine with my post-workout protein shake (sometimes). Im usually in to much of a hurry to get other things done than to worry about timing my creatine intake just right.
There are just so many different options you can choose when taking supps and I guess it can get a little over welming if you start thinking way to into things.
But if your not sure I would definitely listen to nite 2 get you started then change what works best for you.

Default good stuff

I learned a lot from your post. I've picked up some of the ethyl ester and the instructions say to take it in the morning and the afternoon. Are you taking your dose of 4 grams pre-workout, if so how far in advance? Thanks.
