I know Walmart's 2 main brands of Creatine and Whey is the Body Fortress as mentioned earlier, but they have another, it's by Six Star Body Fuel. From what I heard, the parent company that is MuscleTech, is also the parent company for Six Star. So, I called Six Star customer service...actually got a human...anyway, I asked about that, and the differences in the two. And it was confirmed that Six Star is made by the same company that makes Muscletech, diff is that Six Star Creatine and Whey does not have some of the added BCAA's(has some but not as many much, as in amount of each) that Cell-Tech and Nitrotech has, but essentially the exact same thing. And the cost is just a dollar or two higher than the Body Fortress stuff, but I have heard no reviews on Body Fortress.
I have bought the Whey Protein and insted of their Creatine powder I bought some CEE tablets. I will write back after a bit to let you know what I think. Last edited by fbs_4; 12-26-2006 at 01:44 PM. |

lol yeh i figured it was almost exactly like cell tech as far as creatine wise, but i didnt get body fortress whey. i got EAS which i know is a decent real brand and good to be in walmart, just it says there are BCAAs but doesnt list any on back. so idk. but yeh im sure the body fortress and 6 start are practically the same, probably both branching from muscletech. lol

Walmart here in Canada seems to have some decent suppliments, but only the "big plastic jar" containers instead of the bigass buckets that I like. Not only that, but incomparison to the prices at GNC, they're a bit more expensive, provided you have their gold card. I don't know, seems like a ripoff to me. Maybe they'll go on sale or something, but it's tough to beat GNC here in Canada.
