What is the purpose of companies that their BCAAs have a ratio of 2:1:1.
Does this have something to do with absorption or something related to this? What is the reasoning behind this? I've searched a bit for this but didn't come to any conclusion except that maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it! Thank you.

Regarding leucine, it is great for preventing muscle loss due to the fact that it doesn't allow cannibalization of muscle during a workout. Leucine, if I'm not mistaken also promotes the healing of bones, skin, and muscle tissue after traumatic injury. I also hear it helps to regulate blood sugar, but that's leucine.
What I'm asking is about the ratio many companies boast about in their products: The 2:1:1: ratio that is. What is the purpose of this ratio? I've always wondered this..
