Default creatine

ok....i am going to start on creatine....but there is so much out there these days, i dont know what to choose.

right now, im thinking Creatine Monohydrate is the best....for muscle mass that is.

if someone could give me a certain brand name, that would be great.

also, im curious with this loading phase....do i want to follow this one:

week 1 20g/day

week 2-4 10g/day

week 5-8 no creatine

repeat

i hope i can get some answers back

Read this sticky on creatine. It should answer all your questions. If you have any other questions after reading go ahead and ask.

Ok, thanks.

uhh...i read the post, again lol and just am a little puzzled with what brand to buy.

right now, the CEE looks to be the best, considering I have the money to afford it.

(is the CEE in powder form)

if i were to get the CEE, i would also want to do the loading phase.

Which phase is the most effective, or does it even matter?

There are a lot of reputable brands of creatine out there. Kre-alkalyn and CEE are the lastest trends of creatine. Regular monohydrate works well too

Regardless of which you choose, a loading phase is not necessary. You can however achieve the same results by not loading and only taking 5 grams a day and it will take about 21 days to achieve the same muscle saturation as the loading phase. The 5 day loading phase will just get you to that point quicker.

Ok, I understand

I am going to follow through with the Loading Phase.

Do you recommend the CEE, with a loading phase something like:

Week 1: 20g/day
Week 2-4: 10g/day
Week 5-8: No Creatine

I just want to make sure that I have this down pat.

Just FYI, I'm a 15 year old kid, and will hopefully be browsing around often.

I want to become more educated with lifting, etc etc, because there is so much that you can do, for your body.

I started lifting just about a year ago, and have been on Whey for a good few months, consistently.

If I were to have a Whey protein shake, in the mornings, to go school, then lift after, get home, take the Creatine(depending on what part of the cycle I am on), then have another shake at night, would that work?

No, dont load with CEE.

And if you are 15, I would wait until you are at least 16, preferably 18. You are very young and your main focus now should be on your diet and your training, not creatine.

I still would like some advice though, on the Creatine.

I have a well worked out diet, and am aware on how to train.

I'm just still sketchy on which brand to buy, and what routine to follow.

Look go ahead and call me anything you want after my advice but i'll tell you the truth.First of all not only NiteHawk is a mod here,he is also one of the most informative guys around here.He gave you the best and only advice you need right now and politely as well.Still you reacted like a true noob.

If you want to f*ck your body,go ahead and use creatine or even better try to score some roids.Belive me the gains will be awesome.

I think you already got your mind made up, but I prefer ISS Research creatine monohydrate....I've tried VPX - CEX, and bulk CEE, and neither came even close in comparison to the monohydrate from ISS .... just my opinion...

meriaiza, this is not the kind of advice that anyone should be giving here, especially to a 15 year old. I know your joking, but, well you know already so i'll leave it at that.

Creatine will not mess up your body, but nitehawk is 100% right. Train for a year til your 16, 17, 18, either or. Your going to be gaining and getting excellent strength gains regardless. By doing this, your getting the most of out your money, time and effort. Save the supplements for when the time is right.

or go out n blow your mom n dads money.

Spoken like a true teenager that knows everything. If you ask for advice on these forums at least be BOY enough to listen. Creatine is not some wonder supplement that will give you huge gains. READ and educate yourself. Eat well and lift wisely. Once you have obtained the education and experience with your diet and routine, then start adding supplements. Of course, you can always put the cart before the horse, as most of us here have done more then once, and get run over.

Just like you and I were at that age: They know more then anyone else. Just part of growing I guess. The older I get, the more I realize I don't know.

I started training after turning 20.I was so weak and slim like a stick.Infact belive it or not,i was so weak that when i started i could'nt even bench press with any plates on the rod.

There was no shortage of moreons in my gym either, who were always making fun of me.I never gave up though, although my strength gains were next to nothing for the first 3 months.

Belive it or not after 2 and half years most of the guys who were making fun of me were asking for my advice. Now i have been training on and off for 3 and half years and i have gone up from 56kg to 85kg.

I have always listened when somebody gave me advice, even if i did'nt asked for it(which was often).I did'nt took any supplement for the first one and half year(although did'nt look back after started taking them ).It was just me,my determination, weights and food.

Why can't most teens do the same? All they want is quike results without busting their ass in the gym or improving their diet.

You just summed up the whole diet industry in that statement. Todays society expects quick fixes with little effort. In the past, kids were taught to respect people older then themselves. Now a days, kids are calling adults by their first name! I have had this happen to me and I make Damn sure kids at least put Mister in front of my name. I am not equal to some teenager and kids are not my "peer group". So, as these kids grow up, they have no reason to listen to anyone as they consider adults, or people with experience, as little more then equals. I grew up with a great amount of skeptisicsm about BBing because trying all the M&F and Ironman workout routines did NOT give me huge arms and a 600lb bench press. So when people told me to do this exercise or take this supplement, I read up on it to find out if the advice was sound. More often then not, it wasn't. I could then formulate my own routines and diet and make wise supplement purchases based on solid information and experience.
