Hello all,
I've joined this forum in hopes that i can get some much needed advice on supplements. I am having a hard time finding a good pre-workout supplement that does not make me ill. Here's what i currently do: Pre-workout: BSN NO-Explode Post workout: Next Proteins Designer Whey (i put in extra glutamine) Off days: Protein shakes to supplement normal diet All days: GNC Multivitamin w/digestive enzymes The problem is that i get sick during my workouts when i consume the pre-workout drinks. I've recently just got back into training after 5 years away from the gym. Back then (in college) i used to take just regular creatine supplements which never gave me a problem. When i got back into things i first tried Xyience NOX CG3 and felt an awesome pump that first workout. The second time i took it (1 scoop) i got sick to my stomach about 20 min into my session. After a few weeks of this i decided to try the NO Explode on advice from my brother. He said the new formula had no sugar and i figured it was the sugar making me sick. The first day i took NO Explode i was fine but just like the Xience i got sick the second time i took it. Now i'm beginning to think it's the caffeine in it. What do you guys think? I usually take at least 1 rounded teaspoon of glutamin with every protein shake so i don't think that is what makes me sick. Any advice on a pre-workout supplement mix that would give me the creatine i need and a good pump? thanks in advance. |
