Default advice before college

hey yall.

Anyways i go off to college later this week, and i am going to start heavy weight training again. I have been working out this summer but i have not been able to get core lifts like squats and dead lifts done, etc. Anyways I am kinda looking for some reassurance or some new advice on the supplements i should take. I am planning on buying the following:

100% Whey Protein by Precision
Men's Ultra Mega Gold w/o iron
Flax Oil *to go with my protein shake*
Scivation XTend BCAA's
Sci Fit Kre-Alk

Should i be taking anything else, like NO2, or L-Glut.? Are the BCAA's worth it? My protein has 1g of Iso. 2g of Leu. and 1g of Val.

Anyways, I hope to make some serious gains the first semester, atleast as much as i can without taking roids. My ultimate goal is to up my bench to 300, whether that takes all year or just till winter makes no difference to me, I just want it there. I also want my squats to get up back to where they were and over the 400 mark.

Another thing, do yall recommend bent-leg deadlifts or stiff? Seems like stiff is a better core lift, but bent-leg would work legs as well..

I would prefer not to get overly big in my bulking stage, but whatever helps the most is fine.

Cardio... Should I incorporate an "off" day to about 30-45 minutes of cardio? or should i wait until i am done bulking, or done with a month to spend like a week doing cardio?

Thanks guys

The BCAA is worth it, just take it before your cardio session to preserve your muscles. As long as you have a good diet and taking your protein shakes I don't think you need the BCAA before lifting, just for cardio. I'd do cardio 3 times a week 30-45 minutes, changing the intensity. If you're trying to bulk then eat a lot of complex carbs and protein. Oatmeal in the morning and brown rice or sweet potatoe for lunch and dinner.

to me, for a beginner, that looks really good. you could even leave out the kre-alk for a few months until you get some lifting under your belt and you strength stops going up so rapidly..

sorry virus... I didn't really clarify. I have been lifting steadily all through-out high school with the football team and such. I have been taking supps. for a couple years now, and i don't really consider myself a beginner. My lifts have gone up because i took a couple months off for baseball in the spring, so the weight i was doing before baseball went down a bit, but that weight has gone back to where it was earlier.

Cardio is great during bulking but the key is to keep it to a minimum. It will help with protein synthesys but you only weigh a buck fitty so too much will keep the muscle off for sure. 15 min 3x a week is all you need. Supps are generally pretty overrated. Whey protein and a multivitamin is all you really need. I know it looks cool to have a 'stack' but most of that stuff is a waste of money.

I agree, the only thing I've ever really seen results from is good ol' creatine. I think supps really only start to help when you are gettin up there in the BB life and you are starting to plateau...but that's just my opinion.
