Default Protein

I would like to hear your comments and experiences with the following protein supplements. I'm beginning a work out regimen and would appreciate your feedback: Muscle Milk, VP2, Syntrax Nectar, Optimum Nutrition and Nitro-tech.

They are all quality proteins. They are used for different purposes. I have tried all of them except the VP2 and Syntrax Nectar.

muscle milk: i've been on it for a tub and 3/4, and the stuff is amazing. i've had strawberry banana and i'm on cookies and creme right now. the stuff is quality. i take it in the morning with oats and 2gs of cla, and right before bed with two grams of arginine.

nitrotech: it does work, but it is well over priced for a protein. i felt huge and looked big on it, but after i ran out, two days later i was deflated, although i retained the strength. ur better off with some regular whey and maybe arginine or antoehr no2 supp.

VP2 and nectar are essentially the same thing, both whey protein isolates,
ON 100% whey and Nitro-tech are the same thing, both whey blends
Muscle Milk is over priced in my opinion, so I have never tried it

When choosing between the isolates, go for the cheaper one, when choosing between the blends, choose the cheaper one, and when buying muscle milk, I cant help you with that ( you could make your own blend on trueprotein for a bit less)

All of them but the Muscle Milk are whey protein supplements. They are best used post workout and at breakfast time.

The Muscle Milk is a blend protein. Its best used at nighttime or sometime during the day for a boost in protein.

Optimum Nutrition is the only one I've used out of that list & it's one of the best I've used for the $$$ spent.
