Default ginger root and mineral delay

Ok, ive used ginger root in the past after a huge meal or before leg day to prevent upset stomic feeling. Ive heard quite a few people say it delays mineral/nutriant absorbtion time, is this true?

If ginger root has no catabolic side effects im going to use it everyday so i dont get the throw up feeling.
