It is more important to take protein shake before or after the workout..?

You need a good source of Protien and carbs atleast an hour to hour and a half before your workout and a good whey protien and dextrose after your workout.

Milk & whey before a workout is good.

Like STUK said, whey & dextrose (in water) if you can is good too.

You could also have whey in gatorade.

Dextrose serves well postwork out because it's a fast digested carbohydrate. It also acts as against cortisol. It also produces an insulin spike so you can better absorb all the nutrients into muscle tissue, and replenish your muscle glycogen storage you lose when you workout.

You don't HAVE to take dextrose but a dextrose/maltrodextrin blend PWO has been proven optimal.

I myself take Gatorade & Whey PWO.

I believe its more important to have the protein post workout. However, I believe in supplementing with BCAA's before training along with your carbohydrates.

A banana is pretty good for this too. The sugar in bananas has a faster absorbtion rate than any other fruit.
