Default Zma

Hey, I went in a health food shop today and I saw ZMA for sale, isn't it banned in the UK? Either way, would this be any use to me at 18 or will it just make more test while I'm already making enough 'cos of my age?
Just wondering 'cos I've never seen it for sale before...

Any guidance much appreciated, Alex

It won't do you much at your age howardalex. At least you asked! Good thing you didn't spend any money (regardles of how cheap it might've been)

You'll benefit better from taking Melatonin.

ZMA is just ZMA is a combio of zinc, maganesium and vitamin B6.

Supposedlyit gives you better rest but I wouldn't know cause I've never taken it

I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks mate, I thought it'd be a bit silly at my age but it's always better to ask

Alex

Of course man. Always ask....

Maybe not with a supplement like ZMA but you could do some serious damages or have some complications in the future if you take the wrong thing.

Take it easy brother.

i thought ZMA was more of sleep supplement than anything. more/better sleep will see an increase (i should say poor & low amounts of sleep will cause a decrease) in test...

The magnesium helps relax the nervous system & the zinc helps in the maintenence of test levels. The vitamin B6 helps in aiding more oxygen to be carried in the blood (to the muscles). It also helps with the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbs.

As we all know, you grow when you rest, so the better the rest & the more 'building blocks' we can get to our muscles while resting, the better the result.

I personally take my own form of ZMA in the form of seperate vitamin tablets. They actually work better when they are used in conjunction with each other as well ~ sort of like 'synergist' supps.

I take 2 of these before bed. One of these in the morning with a teaspoon of this in water (and my fish oil caps).

Some drops of this between breakfast & the next meal (I'll never buy this stuff again ~ it tastes repulsive).

It's quite a regimented procedure I've got going on !

Na, I only did that once, I usually just swallow it but then I can taste it, I brush my teeth like 12 times after taking one, I swear I can still taste it.. Oh, and it wasnt a fish pill I chewed it was a flax oil pill, but still pretty nasty. I was just wondering what it'd taste like..

I usually have a tablespoon of flaxseed oil ~ not caps.

Sounds like you need to take off your girly blouse & put on some Man Pants!
