huh?

Are you talking about Dymatize's "Mega Milk" or the "Elite Whey Protein"?

Aside from that you want a suggestion on a pre-workout supplement, correct?

yeah i been using elite whey protein for a while too. The bit where they say u dont need a blender to mix it is total crap. Also be careful what flavours u choose, chocolate one tastes mingin, so does berry, im using toffee and moca and the moment, its not all that bad. In terms of its usefulness... It may just be me but has seriously slowed down my digestion because i was mixing it with milk to start off with. Im using water now and its still really slow. If you are gonna take this product make sure u have a good supply of amino acids to hand, will help alot.

As far as when to take it, you can take a serving about 45 minutes before exercise. The other key time is take it postworkout. Mix with water and some dextrose.

THks for the replies , I was talking about the elite whey , I use it only on my workout days which is 3-4 times a week 3 times a day.I got the pina colada ,good on the stomach so far!

Now 45mins before workout should I take elite with milk , juice or water?

The fitness place where I got it says to use it always with juice or milk, I have been using water with it after workout.

A bit confused here on what to do. I'm glad it is good stuff , hope it helps.

Thks

Any other recommendations on pre-workout stuff? They had some no-xplode there and some new stuff forget the name though.

Pre-workout = With Milk

Post Workout = Gatorade or Water. If you do it with water, add some dextrose.

Pre-workout supplements I can recommend are NO-Xplode, Superpump or Supercharged! by Lee Labrada..

I've tried NO-Xplode and Supercharged and they've both done their jobs.

Many thks I'll do that , why the dextrose though with water, I got stay away from 2 things any sugars , and anything high in cholesterol, so is there something I can take to replace the dextrose or is it really not needed?

I'll try the no-explode , next time I'm at the store I'll get it
Thks

I also use Dymatize Elite Whey and LOVE it. It is the best tasting (only tried rich chocolate and orange dreamsicle) protein out there. It mixes easily too, no blender needed. I personally throw a couple scoops in a Nalgene and shake it, drink, fill with a few ounces of water, shake, drink and wash out. Simple for the college student (and the price is right on par with the college student budget).

I drink shakes regardless of on/off days.

Well you're like me, I have to stay away from sugars too so I use Gatorade in my Post Workout Drink. Just do that then!

I'll try the gatorade or green tea for a boost until I get no-explode.
