Default cytogainer too many calories post workout?

Hey guys i was thinkin if 900 calories was too high for post workout and would i be better off takin it like 90 min prior to lifting & noxplode 30 min prior then just a protien shake after and cyto before bed...and i would work some oats in my post shake for some carbs....thanks guys for the input

It gets to be 900 calories if you use milk instead of water.

My thoughts on using that as postworkout, yes, its too many calories, plus you are using milk. You dont want your digestive system being bogged down with lots of calories at the crucial time of post workout. It will spend a lot of energy trying to digest the intake instead of replenishing itself. Plus, you dont want to use milk for post workout.

You do need liquids and quick digesting protein like whey and quick absorbing carbs like dextrose, vitargo for your post-workout. You want to replenish your body's glycogen levels quickly after post workout and the above combo of whey/fast carbs is the way to do that.

i use a half serving with skim milk PWO, its about 400 cals...after reaing this i'm thinking maybe use water from now on







but its so delicioussss

really muscle milk isnt a PWO shake IMO

get some WHEY protein for PWO, maybe chug a muscle milk shake before u go to bed or something w. milk
