Default question getting off creatine

hey had a quick question. i started a cycle of creatine (phosophagen by eas) about a month ago, but want to cut it down cause i've been gaining too much weight. how do you guys think i should cut down? in moderation or is it fine to just cut it out completely. thanks

its okay to cut it out completly


also remember to "cycle" the stuff so your body dont get immune to it. meaning go on it n take time off it

You, techically don't have to cycle Creatine (everyone will tell you that you don't), but I think it is best for your body. Like Virus said you don't want to become immune, but I also cycle it to keep my endogenous Creatine production up and running. When you run Creatine (supplement it in your diet) your body ceases making Creating naturally. It takes 4 weeks for your body to start producing Creatine again once you have stopped taking it. That is why I usually cycle off of it for 4+ weeks before getting back on. Just keeping the natural systems up and running is a good idea IMO...

Now I know why I joined this forum. Of all the reading I have done on creatine, I have never heard of cycling it. Traz, you make complete sense! I have been using creatine for almost a year. I take it daily except for weekends. No reason I choose not to take on the weekends I just don't. I thank you for your insight on cycling with this supplement. Thanks,
