Default gainer, which one?

So generally I know weight gainers aren't the best idea under ideal conditions and one should always try to be eating whole foods. With my next cycle however I want to get the most calories and protein in that I can, and this is going to be hard to do with whole foods alone due to my schedule. I've pretty much narrowed it down to cytogainer and pro complex gainer. I was just wondering if anyone has used either of those and could give any opinions.

The cytosport muscle milk looks good to me, all the others are full of suger/crap...

I think you get a lot more bang for your buck with the Cytogainer...I have used it before, like it, did well, and tastes good.

FYI if you use the cyto, stay away from the chocolate mint....I like andes mints, etc....but it is way overkill minty...

I've used both, back to back. I think I made some better gains with the cyto, and it has a great taste (both did). I did well enough that I ordered two more tubs, and have one just waiting for use. I'm watching calories now, so it's not in the lineup at the moment. I don't think you could make a wrong decision on either one.

i used GNCS Weight gainer... the chocolate mixed with milk with a real treat taste wise...


I got it for dirt cheap too, however if u have to buy them off the shelf they are expensive

cytosport is good stuff too tho, u are right when u said u cant go wrong with either

i use the ON Gainer, and i love it. just finishing up a tub of vanilla, and ordered a tub of the strawberry last night. if you look around at the right places you can get it for around 25 bucks for a 4.9 pound tub.

That's what I'd do if I were at my apartment, but when I'm away from my apartment for most of the day I can't carry my blender, milk, and fresh fruit around with me everywhere.

I'm looking for something that has mostly complex carbs so I can use it between meals without having to worry too much about spikes in insulin.

its all a matter of opinion...i think chocolate mint is the most delicious thing in the world...it tastes like the girl scout cookies, but i can see how you might think its overkill especially if you mix it with milk

I'm thinking of getting the cytogainer or creadrive, since I just ran out of creatine. The cytogainer may be better since I can't seem to eat enough calories. I tried a bunch of different protein powders, but they all seem to upset my stomach since I'm lactose intolerant. Cytogainer says its lactose free, but whey usually bothers my stomach too...

go with a really good whey isolate like GF pro or Isopure, see if that works.
