Question Questions About Suppliments

Hi Again,
Me: 47 YO, just getting back into weight training.
Goals: I am losing my gut, and I'd like to put on muscle mass, as well as add strength.
In reading tons of very informative posts here, I figure I should start with these (unless someone thinks I should begin with something different):

American Creatine Monohydrate 1000g
ON L-Glutamine 1000g
ON 100% Whey Protein 5lb OR Dymatize Elite Isolate
Pro-Lab N Large Weight Gainer 10lb

My questions are:

Is American BB Crea-Force the same thing as the Creatine I mentioned above?

I cannot seem to find the ON L-Glutamine 1000g though, any ideas maybe on a different brand?
Been looking at BB.C for all of my supps, so I can just place one decent order.

Should I be using BOTH the Whey Protein AND the N Large?

Again, thanks very much for your guidance!
Ben N

I would not use N large if i were you. Since you want to lose your gut, a weight gainer would not benefit you. A weight gainer will only give you extra calories that you do not need.

Also, check your PMs.

Question

I just want to make sure I get the correct product.

Is American BB Crea-Force the same thing as the Creatine that I mentioned above (American Creatine Monohydrate 1000g)?

Thx,
Ben N

I'm not to sure I would just in on the creatine at this point. I'd get that workout routine down for a couple of months. Also, the weight gainer is a no-no for those trying to lose weight. Losing weight consist of burning more calories than you consume.

The L-Glut., you'll get mixed opinions.. but I like it. The protein choices are very good. Keep the protein high and the carbs low for intake, and you should see some big improvements. When you get to a point where you are not doing anything, stop and reaccess. You will be shooting at a moving target, try and stay with it.

The L-glutamine is something some are against and some are for. Personally, I can tell a difference when I take about 25 grams before a heavy leg workout, compared to when I dont. But just try it, and if u like it, then keep using it. And whey is a basic thing, you cant really go wrong.

Add a multi too, i think you would benefit from it, heck, everyone benefits from them.

Question

Being that it's been a while for me, I guess the right move (once my equipment arrives), is to ease into some of the high powered supps, once I get my routine down first.
Been taking a multi, & the Omega 3 daily though.
I already have the Olympic weight set here, so I've been doing whatever I can (+ cardio), without the bench, dumbells, & power rack sys.

Also, does anyone happen have a coupon code for BB.C or any of the other sites? Is there such a thing for those sites?

Thx again,
Ben

its not when u get a routine down, its when you hit a "wall" and your power/weight isnt going up, then u use supplements to give you that bit of an edge... but theres alot of factors involved (isnt there always?)

Wrenching on the car, wrenching on the weights...
It's a beautiful thing indeed!
Now I'm just waiting for my Power Rack Sys to get here.
