Question Home Made Cell Tech w/ Kre Alkalyn?

i read about how to make the home made cell tech on this site and was wondering if it could work with Kre Alkalyn Creatine. i know Kre Alkalyn doesnt convert to creatinine, but does all of it get taken up by your muscles? would taking it with dex have a better absorption rate?

also, could this work with glutamine as i hear much of glutamine is destroyed in the gut?

Thats an interesting question, and its something i never thought about. The benefit to making cell tech is so that your creatine gets absorbed faster from the insulin spike. Since kre alkalyn is buffered and you wont lose any of it, it kind of eliminates the need to be absorbed fast. You could do it, but because its all going to get absorbed anyway, it would be a waste of your dextrose.

As for the glutamine, i have no idea. But i really dont think it would have much effect since everything needs to pass through the gut anyway.

Ok now the reason Kre Alk was created was so that you would NOT get water retention from creatine mono, which is what cell tech is. This makes KA superior to cell tech.

Why are you wanting to mix the two and negate one of the most positive aspects of Kre Alk???

Do any of you ever do some reading or research before asking questions? No, not trying to be an ass, just asking because..........whew, man. I mean really.

I thought thats what CEE was for. Kre alk is buffered so that it does not get converted to creatinine when mixed with a liquid.

You're right on both counts. And you bring up another excellent point. The fact is still that Kre Alk also does not make you retain water, so mixing it with cell tech or any other monohydrate is totaly defeating the purpose. Plus which also cell tech is NOT buffered and CAN convert to creatinine. So mixing them is definately defeating the purpose of Kre Alk on more than one count. Actually its TOTALY defeating the purpose of Kre Alk to mix it with ANY type of mono.

V I think you misunderstood the question. He wants to replace the mono in the homemade cell tech recipe with Kre alk. I am not sure on how Kre alk works as far as transportation... but I think he wants to use all of the simple carbs in the homemade cell tech for an insulin spike to transport the Kre alk to his muscles instead of using creatine mono.

Hmm.........ok I went back and re-read his post and yeah, I suppose what he said could be taken either way.

So then........to comment on what you said he meant, you dont need the simple carbs for the transport with Kre Alk, but it wouldnt hurt the Kre Alkalyn. It wont help him much either other than give a bit of energy for the workouts IF he takes it pre-workout.
