Default Is this Possible

I'm currently in high school and I run track and I just started playing lacrosse. For track you usually tend to be more thinner and not much muscle mass. Lacrosse on the other hand, me being a defender, you supposed ot be more built and hav more muscle mass. Thats where my problem is....one sport i gotta be thin and the other more mass...anyone got any solution to where i could play both sports but hav more mass....I love lacrosse alot but not so much on the track part, I'm just giving it a try.....anyone know any work out routines that I coudl built muscle but still be able to run MID-DISTANCE...example-1 mile in under 6 mins three times in a row

well to say size has any advantage over being smaller is false! who says you have to be big? and if your bigger, who says you will be slower or have less endurance? If your good then your good.....you have to have a goal! if your goal is to get a little biger then start training like you want to be bigger. That doesn't mean that you will loose speed or indurance. So what your asking for is a workout to get more mass?????

do you sprint? or marathon? if you sprint obviously getting too bulky for lacrosse isnt an option since power != speed, but if its marathon i guess you can try to strike a balance
