Default Need something for energy

I was told b12 would do but keep reading that theres no research to prove that it works and there are a lot of reviews it doesn't. Any input on it? Also, what else can I use for energy that isn't too radical and dangerous. I am really tired and need some energy, bad. I used to use hydroxycut for the ephedra boost and it worked. It doesn't seem safe now, but is there anything else out there that is safe that can give me a boost.

I would just try to get more rest and eat properly, so that you're not tired all the time. Also, get on a good multi-vitamin.

You could try plain caffiene pills. They're cheap & they do the trick. My problem is that i always feel like total sh*t when the caffiene wears off.

I know that B12 shots give you a boost for the day, but the pills are to low of dosage for me to ever notice a difference.

That No-Explode is being called a glorified energy drink, so it may be a good boost to workout or exercise with.

I would take green tea as well like 15-30 mins befoer i workout. The stuff is good for you and gives the extra energy from caffeine.

i would make sure there is not something medically wrong with you cause your tiredness like epstein bar or mono. see a doctor they can tell with just a simple blood test. if that is all good then worry about finding something to combat it

I just ordered 120 caffine pills (200mg a pill) for 4.90.....so ya, real cheap, maybe that. I dont get caffeine, cause I dont drink sweet tea or soft drinks anymore. Well, i do get some, i take green tea extract daily cause of health benefits of green tea (dang asians are so much healthier than us). So green tea might work as well. I have a multi with a buttload of B vitamins which also help energy levels. good luck man.

I took green tea a few years back to lose weight and it helped. I see that its good for energy which i currently lack before a workout. I am in a bulkin phase and am concerned about taking green tea, along with creatine would it matter ? cause i need more energy before a workout and dont want to mess with some **** like ripped fuel that will mess you up.

I think your talking about more energy throughout the day. But No Xplode works very well for me. I notice a big difference in the amount of energy and focus I have in the gym.

How much caffiene is in a serving size of Coffea? If I need a quick boost of energy while im at work, ill have a 20oz serving of coffea. Seems to do the trick pretty well.
However, I was thinking about buying some caffiene pills to take before I work out and before my baseball practices/games to give me that extra boost of energy.... Drinking a 20oz serving is possible, but isnt always the "easiest" or most convenient option since you have to wait to brew the coffea.

My question, what is a good dosage for Caffiene pills and Green Tea pills??

man... I need something for energy too... I eat well and sleep well.. but have no energy at work... it is like the building sucks it right outa me... Especially after luncho...

I usually take multivitamins daily and Animal Stak 2 before workouts... However, I am starting to get dependent on caffeine (coffee, soda, diet pill) to give me a boost, which I want to get away from... Especially this weekend, I had to work a bit..so drank a big Sobe Adrenline Rush ( 156mg of Caffeine) on both days... so today my body is like "Hey! WTF! GET SOME MORE"...

There is this new stuff out there called 5-Hour Energy, comes in a tiny little bottle and you drink it. Basically it is just some vitamins and like 10,000% of your B vitamins for the day. My girlfriend has tried it and it works much better than caffeine alone because it doesnt give you the burnt out feeling. It only has as much caffeine as 1 cup of coffee and it has taurine, the stuff in energy drinks.

A commercial came on for it while me and her were at the gym and some guy said he drank 2 of them before he ran a marathon and apparently it helped him, so it must be good even if you are doing strenuous activity.

cardio breeze
water- hydration is often a factor in energy levels
potassium- often a factor in hydration (shoot for 2-1 k+ to NA ratio)
ALCAR

Ephedrine is not dangerous per se, most of the issues attributed to it are really due to dehydration and hyperthermia.
